  • Luckyfoot began as a dream Allie had ever since she was a teenager. Allie began martial arts at the age of 4, and seriously re-started her training years later where she began to live, eat, and breathe taekwondo through high school and college. After graduating with a neuroscience degree, Allie entered the field of pediatric behavioral health delivering ABA services to those in need. After taking a forced break from her training due to a knee injury, Allie realized that passing on the love for martial arts and all the lessons training has taught her is what she’s meant to do - and Luckyfoot Martial Arts was born.

Allie, a self-proclaimed “karate nerd”, dedicates hours a week to rigorous training for not just the goals of placing in competition or rank advancement, but simply because she loves martial arts. Her tournament accolades in traditional forms and creative weapons, along with near perfect scores throughout all rank evaluations attest to this. Allie is always looking for opportunities to
develop her skill set and is training towards her 4th dan under Black Belt Hall of Fame recipient and Forms and Fighting World Champion John Chung in Leesburg, VA, the test of which is
    projected for 2025.

Allie particularly enjoys traditional forms, contemporary nunchaku, and teaching. She considers it an honor to be part of her students’ training and takes serious responsibility in supporting her students to achieve their best selves. Specifically, she takes assertive action towards ensuring that all students, especially women and girls, feeling empowered in their training. In her free time, you can find her gaming with her husband, playing music, creating art, gardening, and going on outdoor adventures.

  • Cole began martial arts in 2001 and earned his black belt in 2009 under Senseis Jean Paschke and Jeff Stenson of Five Star Martial Arts in Brighton, CO. A foundational part of Cole’s martial arts experience was competing in tournaments where he has won state champion titles since his teenage years. Years later, he continues to bring his coaching excellence to the tournament scene because he enjoys seeing the results of his students’ focused effort and consistency. Cole takes pride in ensuring his students are well-equipped, a skill he attributes solely to Sensei Jean’s thoughtful and thorough approach to teaching.

While his foundation is in taekwondo, Cole was a recipient of masterful Wushu and extensive musical/creative competition guidance under Sensei Jeff Stenson. Cole was particulary drawn to staff, spear, and Chinese double broad sword - weapons that he continues to weave into artful competition forms.

Cole enjoys training with bo and other weapons, coaching, and challenging himself and his students to train to their best selves. When he isn’t coaching or hard at work in his engineering career, you can find him cuddling with his cats, playing video games, or going on adventures with his wife.
